Where do I apply for an emergency loan?

Application for emergency loans is made online at https://secure.finaid.wwu.edu/stl2/step1.php. The Signature Loan has a $5 fee. The funds are available the next business day at the Cashier's Office in OM 245 with photo ID. The Institutional loan has a $10 fee. Institutional loans require a co-signer who is at least 21 years old and not a roommate, spouse, student or employee of Western. The cosigner must be able to repay this loan if you cannot. The cosigner can sign the loan either by receiving the loan application in the mail, coming into the office to sign, or sign the document in the presence of a notary. You have 90 days to repay this loan. If either loan becomes overdue in repayment, your registration will be put on hold.
