The Richard E. Fitzner Memorial Scholarship Fund provides up to $2,500 toward tuition for wildlife oriented biology students during the fall of their junior or senior year. The fund honors the memory of the late Dick Fitzner, a wildlife biologist, educator, artist, hunter, fisherman, naturalist, and past president of the Washington Chapter of the Wildlife Society. What are the differences between these types of businessmen? Is the story a celebration of business? How does this issue relate to the wider themes in the novel?
