Ultimate Backpack Scholarship

The SwissGear.com Ultimate Backpack Scholarship is open to incoming college freshmen for the Fall 2015 academic semester or a current undergraduate or graduate student that is enrolled by August 31st, 2015 at any accredited two or four year college, university, or institution.

Each applicant must submit an essay of 500 words or less on what makes a great backpack.

One student will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship while two additional students will be awarded $2,500 each.

Smat Shopper Scholarship

For this scholarship, applicants must a) be a resident of the U.S., b) currently enrolled in a university program, and c) provide a 500 word minimum essay on the best ways to save money as a college student.

A team of experts from Dealspotr.com will judge the essays based on quality and creativity. Grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure will be taken into account as well as the originality of the content. The winner will be notified by email September 30 2015 and the scholarship will be distributed on October 15 2015.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must a) have served in the U.S. Armed Forces or reserves, b) be accepted or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, and c) have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.

Abry Brothers
Abry Brothers Scholarship Program

The Abry Brothers Scholarship is offered to a qualified student candidate who exemplifies leadership and commitment to health and safety in the home. The scholarship is open to students pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university. The scholarship is granted for the current school year, and the winners are eligible to apply for the following school years.

Students must be a) 16 years of age or older, b) enrolled in a two-year, four-year, or a graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university, c) have a cumulative GPA of 2.75, and d) complete the application form, written essay, along with a copy of an official transcript.

Fall deadline is August 31st, 2015 and Spring deadline is January 31st, 2016.
