Gloria & Joseph Mattera National Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to assist financially those migrant youth who have the potential and desire to further their education. To be eligible applicant must show recent history of movement for agricultural employment-priority will be given to interstate migrant youth, show scholastic potential, have financial need and be enrolled or accepted at an accredited public or private college, technical or vocational school, or a dropout or a potential dropout from high school who shows promise of ability to continue schooling. There is no deadline for applications which are reviewed on a case by case basis. Students may reapply annually but are limited to one award per 12 month period.

CollegeSTEPS Program

This award is open to any current U.S. resident,(excluding residents of New York, Florida, and Rhode Island) who is a high school senior during the 2009-2010 school year, who graduates from high school in 2010 and who enrolls in the CollegeSTEPS Program. Eligible Entrants who are under the age of 18 must provide the name of their legal guardian(s) in order to submit an Entry. Eight (8) drawings will be made between July 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010.
