WWU Scholarship Timeline

Western Washington University awards more than $2,000,000 in institutional scholarship each year. Students are awarded scholarships on the basis of academic merit, talent, extracurricular activities, multicultural experience, leadership and, in some cases, financial need.

In general, WWU scholarships follow this timeline:

January/March 2008	Application materials are available at the office of the appropriate department.
March/May 2008	Application deadlines vary according to each individual scholarship, but most will occur during these months.
July 2008	Students are notified of the results of the scholarships.

All scholarships are considered part of a student's financial aid package and will be
credited toward current bills on the student's account prior to disbursement of funds.
