Work Study Award and Confirmation As mentioned in our Summer newsletter, the SEC is now emailing confirmation of work study to students beginning this week. The first email was send today, July 29.
A few things to note:
1. The Financial Aid Office continues to process awards until the start of school, so some of your returning students may not received their award until August or September. Our goal remains to let you know directly who amongst your returners were offered and have accepted a work study award for 2009-2010.
2. The SEC willsend out a fresh batch Confirmation of Work Study emails weekly until the start of the quarter. Each week, the email distribution list will catch any students who have accepted their work study award since the last time the email was sent. Students will only receive this email once. (We can send it again to the student if the email is lost.)
3. The students have been instructed to save the email and send it to you as their confirmation. Our goal is to replace the blue confirmation sheets the student had to pick up in our office. To view a sample, click here.
