National Student Employment Week
Every year, the National Student Employment Association (NSEA) declares the second full week in
April to be National Student Employment Week. For 2013, Western Washington University will
join in this national celebration the week of April 7-13, 2013.
Western Washington University employs roughly 2,500 students each academic year.
Our student employees contribute to the academic and extra-curricular aspects that makes Western
such an excellent place to educate students. Not only do the students help keep Western
functioning, but the combined contributions of mentors, supervisors, and peers help our students
enter the workforce as better employees.
Student Employee Supervisors and co-workers are encouraged to celebrate this week and take
