Job Title and Description: House Manager for the CFPA

Under limited supervision, the House Manager manages the front of house (patrons) for performing arts productions. The HM seeks ushers for events, directs and assigns duties of ushers, coordinates with box office personnel and works closely with the Stage Technician during performances. The HM counts house tickets and prepares event reports both electronically and on paper. The HM works directly with arts patrons and diplomatically solves problems that might occur during these events. The HM must be willing to work flexible hours as most events are held in the evening and on weekends. The HM applicant should demonstrate a strong work ethic, interest in providing outstanding customer service, attention to detail as well as comfort speaking publicly.
