Library

= State Work Study Eligible

Library Assistant 1  8.55-9.85     
Under close or general supervision, performs routine clerical, processing and public service functions. Requires minimal level of training. Skills, which may be required, include typing and operation of other office machines and data entry equipment. 

Library Assistant 2  8.85-10.60     
Under general supervision, performs moderately complex processing, clerical or public service functions requiring training in one or more general areas of library procedures and policies. Functions are normally governed by established procedures, but independent judgment may sometimes be required. Similar skills required for Library Assistant I may also be required of Library Assistant II, but at a higher level of expertise. 

Library Assistant 3  9.15-11.90     
Under limited supervision, performs complex processing, clerical or public service functions requiring in-depth knowledge of a specialized area or comprehensive understanding of a broad area of library operations. Duties frequently require independent judgment. May supervise employees at lower classification. Qualifications which may be required include relevant experience and subject expertise. 

Library Assistant 4  9.50-14.50     
Under direction, utilizes similar skills required of a Library Assistant III, but at a higher level of expertise. Duties necessitate independent judgment and may include planning. General knowledge of all library collections and specialized knowledge in at least one library collection are required. Relevant experience is required.
